Some dogs come to the Howl-A-Woof event with costumes from stores, and other people make costumes for their pooches. Either way, they are fun to look at. Every dog is allowed to bring his or her person along, to join in the fun. Of course, you can always have your pet groomed by us before the big event.
There are plenty of snacks for pooches and people alike at the Howl-A-Woof event, as always. Some of the guests may bring along home-baked dog treats for those lucky dogs. Check out dog treat recipes online to find your personal favorites.
Be sure that you award your dog with treats while you are away from other dogs, since they can become a bit territorial over food. All dogs should be fed separately. You’ll want to pack plastic bags along, too, so you can clean up after your friend.
If you want to bring along a clever pumpkin with a likeness of your dog’s pooch drawn on it, the other festival-goers are sure to enjoy it. There will be many dog people taking photographs of the best costumes, to be posted on the website.
Please bring only friendly dogs to the Howl-a-Woof event, for the comfort and safety of everyone attending. Well-socialized dogs will make the event lots more fun.
